Hello and welcome! My name is Pauline Thomas and I’m the founder of Karibuni Kenya, a relocation service dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses settle and build new lives in beautiful Kenya.

My journey with Kenya began in 2023, when I flew from the UK and visited the country for a short trip — but it turned out to be so much more, it was a life-changing experience for me. I was instantly captivated by the warmth of the Kenyan people, the vibrant culture, the breathtaking landscapes, and of course the wildlife. I knew I had found a place that truly felt like home. Kenya had captured my heart completely and left a lasting impression on me.

After returning to my home in London, I spent more time exploring the country in depth, learning about different regions, and experiencing what day-to-day life in Kenya is really like. During that time, I met many others who, like me, had fallen in love with Kenya but weren’t sure how to make the move permanent. They often struggled with the complexities of visas, finding homes, or simply knowing where to begin.

That’s when the idea for Karibuni Kenya was born. I spent many months researching and gathering data to launch the business.

In 2025, I returned to Kenya to officially set upKaribuni Kenya a relocation service business designed to make moving to Kenya seamless, supported and exciting — a dream that combines my love for the country with my professional background in administration and organizational management, where I’ve worked for most of my career. My administrative experience has given me a deep understanding of processes, logistics, and attention to detail — all essential skills for helping others relocate smoothly and confidently

I’ve connected with local real estate agents, business owners, and service providers. These relationships have now become the foundation of a trusted on-the-ground support network — people who share my passion for helping newcomers feel at home in Kenya.
